I work in long term care and literally go nonstop for 7 hours. I am in a sweat for most of my shift. We are a very busy area with some very heavy individuals. When I am finished every muscle in my body aches, legs, back, shoulders, arms and neck. I feel like I have just worked out. I am wondering if I should drink whey protein drinks during or after my shift. I don't want to bulk up but I understand that the protein aids in feeding the muscles. Am I wrong? I just want to know if drinking these drinks will help or hinder me.

Hello emptyvessel, sounds like you are performing some very strenuous work! I would definitely recommend taking a protein shake every morning and after every work day. It will most definitely help your muscle soreness and recovery. In regards to bulking up, you will not bulk up taking whey protein. That is a common misconception. Our whey protein, Alloy, has only 130 calories per serving while offering 23 grams of protein per scoop. Thank you for question! Let me know if you have any additional questions!
